Neuromuscular Taping Courses – in Collaboration with Moving Lymph
In collaboration with Moving Lymph, we offer professional training in the NeuroMuscular Taping (NMT) method for lymphatic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
NeuroMuscular Taping uses elastic tape according to specific application techniques designed to influence the skin and underlying tissues. The method can be incorporated into rehabilitation programmes to support lymphatic drainage, circulation, movement and tissue recovery.
These practical courses combine theory, clinical reasoning and extensive hands-on training. You will learn how to select, cut, position and apply tape for different clinical objectives and different stages of rehabilitation.
The training is suitable for health professionals who want to expand their taping knowledge and incorporate the neuro-lymphatic approach of NMT into their clinical practice.
NMT Lymphatic Rehabilitation
For all Health Professionals
16 hours | 2-day intensive course
The NMT Lymphatic Rehabilitation course focuses specifically on the use of NeuroMuscular Taping within lymphatic and circulatory rehabilitation.
During two days of immersive theoretical and practical training, you will develop the manual skills required to apply NMT techniques and learn how these applications can be incorporated into the treatment of lymphatic congestion and post-surgical rehabilitation.
What will you learn?
- Develop essential manual skills and dexterity for applying NeuroMuscular Taping.
- Learn NMT-specific application techniques used in lymphatic rehabilitation.
- Understand relevant cutaneous anatomy and its relationship with lymphatic pathways of the upper back, neck and limbs.
- Perform step-by-step lymphatic drainage taping applications for different clinical objectives.
- Understand the differences between acute, post-acute and functional NMT treatment strategies.
- Learn the principles behind the use of NMT in acute and chronic lymphatic congestion.
- Apply treatment protocols commonly used during post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Learn two specific NMT application techniques for outpatient and hospital treatment of lymphatic and circulatory congestion.
- Develop effective tape cutting, positioning and application techniques.
- Select appropriate NMT protocols based on patient presentation and treatment objectives.
- Practise applications under instructor supervision with real-time feedback and correction.
- Review clinical cases, current research and evidence-based practice.
Continued support after the course
Your training does not stop when the two-day course ends. Participants also receive:
- 2 × 1-hour mentoring sessions between 1 and 3 months after the course.
- Direct contact with your NMT teacher via your WhatsApp group for 2 years.
NMT Skeletal Muscular Rehabilitation
For all Health Professionals
32 hours | 4-day intensive course
The NMT Skeletal Muscular Rehabilitation course provides comprehensive training in the NeuroMuscular Taping methodology for musculoskeletal, lymphatic and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Over four intensive days you will explore the principles of elastic decompression, relevant anatomy and a wide range of practical applications for different parts of the body.
The emphasis is on understanding not only how to apply the tape, but also why, when and which technique to select during different phases of rehabilitation.
What will you learn?
- Understand the principles of elastic decompression and the difference between decompressive and compressive techniques.
- Develop a practical understanding of lymphatic, vascular and cutaneous anatomy relevant to taping.
- Perform step-by-step lymphatic drainage applications for the upper and lower extremities, trunk, neck and important drainage pathways.
- Learn post-surgical taping protocols for shoulder, hip, elbow, wrist, knee and ankle rehabilitation.
- Perform double-fan, double-joint and regional drainage techniques used for lymphatic congestion.
- Develop accurate tape cutting, positioning and application techniques for different treatment objectives.
- Adapt NMT applications to acute, post-acute and functional phases of rehabilitation.
- Improve clinical reasoning and protocol selection based on patient presentation and treatment goals.
- Practise applications extensively with real-time instructor feedback and correction.
- Explore clinical case studies, research and evidence-based practice.
Continued support after the course
After completing the four-day training, participants receive:
- 2 × 1-hour mentoring sessions between 1 and 3 months after the course.
- Direct contact with your NMT teacher via your WhatsApp group for 2 years.
Advanced Breast Reconstruction Rehabilitation
For NMT Practitioners
16 hours | 2-day advanced course
This advanced NMT course is designed for practitioners who want to specialise further in breast reconstruction and post-surgical rehabilitation.
The programme combines knowledge of breast reconstruction techniques with advanced NeuroMuscular Taping applications used throughout different stages of recovery.
Participants learn how NMT techniques can be incorporated into a broader rehabilitation programme following breast reconstruction and how treatment strategies can be adapted according to the patient’s presentation and stage of recovery.
What will you learn?
- Develop advanced NMT application skills specifically for breast reconstruction and rehabilitation.
- Gain an understanding of different breast reconstruction surgical techniques and how these procedures have evolved.
- Learn step-by-step treatment approaches following breast reconstruction.
- Apply advanced NMT techniques aimed at supporting fluid drainage, blood and lymphatic circulation and tissue mobility during rehabilitation.
- Learn techniques that can be incorporated into treatment programmes addressing post-surgical swelling, discomfort and scar tissue.
- Determine appropriate NMT applications for acute oedema, post-acute oedema and functional rehabilitation following breast reconstruction.
- Develop specific manual and NMT protocols for different stages of post-surgical breast rehabilitation.
- Improve clinical reasoning and treatment selection based on patient presentation and rehabilitation goals.
- Practise advanced applications under instructor supervision with real-time feedback.
- Review relevant clinical case studies, research and evidence-based practice.
Continued support after the course
Participants receive ongoing professional support including:
- 2 × 1-hour mentoring sessions between 1 and 3 months after completing the course.
- Direct contact with your NMT teacher via your WhatsApp group for 2 years.
