Description
Customers choose CureTape® Beauty because it is a gentle kinesiology face tape suitable for delicate areas such as the face, neck and thin skin (scar tissue). CureTape® Beauty is a cosmetic kinesiology tape for face treatments, commonly used for beauty taping routines such as face lifting techniques, anti-wrinkle applications and anti-aging treatments. The 5 cm x 5 m roll is the most flexible CureTape® Beauty option. You can easily cut your own face tape strips depending on the area and technique you want to use. CureTape® Beauty can also be used for tape applications on vulnerable areas, such as the face or thin skin. The tape is made from elastic, breathable cotton with a hypoallergenic adhesive layer. All products in the CureTape® range are manufactured in a factory in South Korea. When long-lasting adhesion is not required, CureTape® Beauty is often preferred because the tape is easier to remove compared to stronger adhesive tapes. Note: For very sensitive skin we recommend CureTape® Gentle® – kinesiology tape for sensitive skin. Note: Together with kinesiology face tape, the FASCIQ® Facial Cupping Set can also be used for facial & beauty treatments.

Cosmetic facial taping – a new natural trend in the beauty industry
Cosmetic Taping is the new natural trend in the Beauty Industry, used to improve the overall appearance of skin in a natural way. This method derived from the beauty industry in Eastern Europe. Stimulated by the media, a new beauty ideal has emerged over the years, making the use of all sorts of cosmetics (i.e. peels, fillers, injections and laser treatments) normal. Even though immediate results can be seen through treatment procedures like injections, due to the immediate swelling that tightens the skin, there are many common side effects that you risk like inflammation, allergic reactions, headaches and even paralysis or asymmetry of the face. In addition, these treatments are very expensive and because the results are often temporary, you will continue to incur the costs. With Beauty Tape you can achieve skin improvement in a natural and risk-free way. Firming and smoothing the skin is a slower process but with regular use the results stay visible for much longer. Beauty Tape can also be used after a cosmetic procedure or liposuction treatment assisting with the removal of lymph fluid for a faster recovery time. This great post-treatment using elastic taping techniques will ensure better results.
Japanese history of kinesiology tape
Kinesiology tape was developed in the 1970s in Japan. The method originated from the principles of the ‘Kinematics’ known under the English term ‘Kinesiology’. Kinesiology as a form of therapy utilises muscle testing in order determine where the muscle ROM (Range of Motion) or balance is disturbed in the body and how to restore the muscle balance back to normal function. Created in Japan this therapy was later practiced and expanded upon in Korea. It was discovered that by making use of elastic tape by the kinesiologist’s, a faster recovery of the muscle balance was achieved.
How does CureTape® Beauty face tape work?
After application this elastic tape provides a lifting effect of the skin. The lifting effect has a great effect on blood and lymph flow, ensuring the removal of waste.
How to apply face tape
- Prep and clean the skin before applying the tape with an oil free make-up remover, toner or light serum. Be sure not the use anything with oil or a moisturizer, since this will make not make the face tape stick well.
- Apply the tape without stretch to a pre-extended area of the skin
- Rub the tape on well to improve and activate the adhesive layer of the face tape.
If you want to remove the tape: Remove it in the opposite direction of how you applied it. You should be able to roll off the tape easily. If it does not come off, try using oil. This makes the face tape come off easier.

Several areas are affected in the skin:
- Moisture removal is improved. The lymphatic drainage causes things like edema and bags under the eyes and surgery fluid.
- Regeneration process of the connective tissue is stimulated.
- The tape ensures that a stimulus is given to the collagen and connective tissue that provides a recovery response, which over time creates a firmer connective tissue and skin improvement becomes visible.
- Fine wrinkles disappear and deep wrinkles become less visible.
- The muscle tone can be activated or sedated with tape.
How often to use CureTape® Beauty with a facial treatment?
It is recommended to use the tape between 6 and 10 hours a day for the first 3 to 4 weeks. Best worn at night. After this period, the maintenance process follows and it is then recommended to wear the tape 1 to 2 times a week. This method can be perfectly combined with connective tissue massage, facial gymnastics or facial massage.
Attention for using face tape
We recommend reading the instructions before use, applying face cream (regular day cream) before applying the face tape. In this case the tape will even come off more easily. Note: CureTape® Beauty Face Tape is available in light beige.
FAQ about Face Taping
CureTape® Beauty is used in facial taping routines focused on the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The elastic tape gently pulls on the skin and provides a physical reminder of facial movement. Some users report a temporarily smoother appearance, but experiences vary. It offers a natural way to care for your appearance as part of your beauty routine.
Our suggested beauty taping routine is 6–10 hours per session during the first 3–4 weeks, often overnight, followed by 1–2 applications per week. First check how your skin responds with a small test piece, then begin with shorter sessions. Only build up wear time if your skin tolerates it. Beauty taping can be included alongside facial massage or facial exercises.
CureTape® Beauty is made from elastic, breathable cotton with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive developed for delicate skin. It combines the flexibility of kinesiology tape with a gentler adhesive for facial applications.
Each roll contains 5 metres of tape. How long it lasts depends on how often you tape, the areas you cover and the size of the strips you cut. Facial applications usually use short, narrow strips, so one roll provides multiple sessions. Larger applications use more tape.
Remove the tape gently and stop using it until your skin has recovered. CureTape® Beauty has a hypoallergenic adhesive, but exceptionally sensitive skin may still react. Before first use, apply a small piece without stretching it and leave it on for 24 hours, removing it sooner if irritation develops. If there is no reaction, proceed with your intended application while continuing to monitor your skin.
CureTape® Beauty uses a gentler adhesive than our regular Classic tape while still providing a secure hold on clean, dry skin. Remove make-up, oils and creams from the application area before taping, as they can reduce adhesion. After applying, gently rub the tape to help it adhere.
