The use of Beauty Tape for skin improvement originated in Eastern Europe and has made its way to the Netherlands. Over time, the media has contributed to a shift in beauty standards, making medical procedures like peels, fillers, injections, and laser treatments more common. At the same time, people are seeking more natural anti-aging products and treatment methods. Beauty Taping fits perfectly into this trend.
How does CureTape® Beauty work?
After applying the elastic tape to the skin, it has a lifting effect. This positively influences lymphatic and blood flow, helping to remove waste products and accelerating skin recovery. Beauty Tape impacts several skin processes:
- Improved fluid drainage. This form of lymphatic drainage helps with edema, under-eye bags, and post-operative swelling.
- Stimulates connective tissue regeneration.

How often should it be used in a facial treatment?
It is recommended to use the tape daily for 6 to 10 hours during the first 3 to 4 weeks for most applications. For “The Sun” method, 3 hours is sufficient, though longer is fine. It’s best to wear the tape overnight. After this initial phase, maintenance involves using the tape 1 to 2 times a week. This method can be effectively combined with connective tissue massage, facial exercises, or facial massage. The skin should be properly cleansed before use. You can use a cream beforehand, but let it absorb completely. Apply the tape along the massage lines. Always remove the tape gently. The adhesive dissolves with (baby) oil. Sprinkle the tape with oil, let it soak in, then peel off slowly. CureTape® Beauty is used in facial taping routines focused on the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The elastic tape gently pulls on the skin and provides a physical reminder of facial movement. Some users report a temporarily smoother appearance, but experiences vary. It offers a natural way to care for your appearance as part of your beauty routine.
Our suggested beauty taping routine is 6–10 hours per session during the first 3–4 weeks, often overnight, followed by 1–2 applications per week. First check how your skin responds with a small test piece, then begin with shorter sessions. Only build up wear time if your skin tolerates it. Beauty taping can be included alongside facial massage or facial exercises.
CureTape® Beauty is made from elastic, breathable cotton with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive developed for delicate skin. It combines the flexibility of kinesiology tape with a gentler adhesive for facial applications. Each strip is pre-cut to 2 cm x 7 cm for convenient application.
Each pack contains 60 ready-cut strips measuring 2 cm x 7 cm. How long the pack lasts depends on how many strips you use per session and how often you tape. For example, using six strips per session provides ten sessions. The strips are ready to apply, so there is no need to cut them from a roll.
Remove the tape gently and stop using it until your skin has recovered. CureTape® Beauty has a hypoallergenic adhesive, but exceptionally sensitive skin may still react. Before first use, apply a small piece without stretching it and leave it on for 24 hours, removing it sooner if irritation develops. If there is no reaction, proceed with your intended application while continuing to monitor your skin.
CureTape® Beauty uses a gentler adhesive than our regular Classic tape while still providing a secure hold on clean, dry skin. Remove make-up, oils and creams from the application area before taping, as they can reduce adhesion. After applying, gently rub the tape to help it adhere.
