★★★★★
“My elderly parents use the sensitive tape and it works great for them. The tape works well with no irritation to their skin even when left on for days. They use it on ankles, shoulders and knees. Highly recommend for anyone with sensitive skin or who may find the other tape irritating.”
— Kacey, Brisbane
Certified quality
All CureTape® products are manufactured in South Korea under strict quality standards and comply with applicable medical device regulations. Every roll is produced using premium materials to ensure consistent quality, comfort and performance.
The history of kinesiology tape
Kinesiology tape was originally developed in Japan during the 1970s and has since become widely used throughout physiotherapy, sports medicine and rehabilitation. Today it is also commonly used to support muscles and joints, assist lymphatic taping techniques and support scar management. CureTape® Gentle applies the same proven kinesiology tape principles with a softer adhesive developed specifically for sensitive skin.
How does CureTape® Gentle work?
Like traditional kinesiology tape, CureTape® Gentle gently lifts the outer layer of the skin after application. This lifting effect may help support healthy blood circulation and lymphatic drainage while reducing pressure on the underlying tissues. Because it uses a hypoallergenic adhesive, this kinesiology tape for sensitive skin offers the same elastic support while being more comfortable for delicate or easily irritated skin. The tape contains no medication and works solely through its elasticity and specialised application techniques.

About kinesiology tape
Kinesiotape is an elastic cotton tape with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive, designed to mimic the skin in terms of elasticity and thickness. CureTape® Gentle uses a milder adhesive for sensitive or fragile skin and is water-resistant. Wear time depends on your skin and the application.
What do people use kinesiology tape for, and how does it work?
People commonly use kinesiology tape around the knees, shoulders, ankles and back during sport, work or everyday activities. Physiotherapists also use it as part of treatment plans, including applications around swollen areas and scars.
The tape stretches with your body rather than holding an area firmly in place like FASCIQ Rigid Sports Tape. You can feel the tape gently pulling on your skin as you move. This provides a physical reminder of the taped area and may make you more aware of how you move.
The tape’s gentle pull on the skin is also one of the ideas behind its use in lymphatic taping. Researchers are still studying how this works and what difference it makes. The experience can vary from person to person and depends on the application.
Other sizes and packs
CureTape® Gentle is designed for sensitive or fragile skin and uses a latex-free, hypoallergenic adhesive. However, people with exceptionally sensitive skin may still react. If your skin is very sensitive, first apply a small piece like a plaster, without stretching it, and leave it on for 24 hours. Remove it if irritation develops. If there is no reaction, you can proceed with your intended application while continuing to monitor your skin.
CureTape® Gentle uses a milder adhesive for sensitive skin and easier removal. CureTape® Classic also has a hypoallergenic adhesive and is suitable for most people. Choose Gentle when skin comfort and gentler adhesion are your priorities.
Yes, its milder adhesive makes it an option for children when taping is appropriate. Ask a qualified healthcare professional for guidance on placement, stretch and wear time, particularly when taping babies or young children.
Wear time varies with skin condition, placement and daily activities. Although kinesiology tape can often remain attached for several days, Gentle’s milder adhesive may mean a shorter wear time than Classic. Follow your practitioner’s advice and remove it sooner if itching, redness or discomfort occurs.
Slowly peel the tape back over itself while supporting the skin with your other hand. Avoid pulling it sharply away from the skin. To make removal easier, use a suitable tape remover spray, following its instructions, or allow a little baby oil to soak into the tape first. For sensitive skin, choose a removal product you already know your skin tolerates well.
