Description

The CureTape® Giant clinic roll (5 cm x 31.5 m) is designed for physiotherapy clinics, sports therapists and healthcare practitioners who use kinesiology tape on a daily basis and want a more cost-effective solution. This extra-long kinesiology tape roll contains significantly more tape than a standard roll, making it ideal for busy treatment rooms and practices. Working from one continuous roll means fewer individual rolls to replace and a lower price per metre. The CureTape® Giant clinic roll therefore offers an efficient and economical solution for clinics where kinesiology tape is used throughout the day. The 5 cm width is the most commonly used size in kinesiology taping and is suitable for a wide range of professional applications. The elastic properties of CureTape® kinesiology tape allow the skin to move naturally while providing support to muscles and joints. The breathable cotton material combined with a skin-friendly acrylic adhesive ensures the tape remains securely in place during everyday activities, sport and even when exposed to moisture. CureTape® kinesiology tape is manufactured in an ISO-certified factory in South Korea and complies with the latest European MDR medical device legislation. The tape is latex free and designed to be gentle on the skin, making it suitable for prolonged wear and for patients with sensitive skin.

About kinesiology tape

Kinesiotape is an elastic cotton tape with a hypoallergenic, acrylic adhesive layer. It has been designed to mimic the skin in terms of elasticity and thickness. The tape is made of high-quality materials, adheres to the skin for 3 to 7 days and is water-resistant.

What do people use kinesiology tape for, and how does it work?

People commonly use kinesiology tape around the knees, shoulders, ankles and back during sport, work or everyday activities. Physiotherapists also use it as part of treatment plans, including applications around swollen areas and scars.

The tape stretches with your body rather than holding an area firmly in place like FASCIQ Rigid Sports Tape. You can feel the tape gently pulling on your skin as you move. This provides a physical reminder of the taped area and may make you more aware of how you move.

The tape’s gentle pull on the skin is also one of the ideas behind its use in lymphatic taping. Researchers are still studying how this works and what difference it makes. The experience can vary from person to person and depends on the application.

Giant Classic is a practical choice for physiotherapists, clinics and frequent users who regularly tape muscles and joints. The continuous clinic roll lets you cut the length needed for each application.

Each roll measures 5 cm x 31.5 m. That is the same length as 6.3 standard rolls of 5 metres.

The tape has the same elastic cotton material and hypoallergenic adhesive as standard CureTape® Classic. The difference is the longer roll, designed for frequent use.

Yes. Cut the tape to the length, width and shape required for your application. Round off the corners to help prevent peeling.

Giant Classic provides one continuous 31.5 m roll. CureTape® Big Boy Classic contains 40 separate 5 m rolls in four popular colours, supplied in a portable box with a carrying handle. Separate rolls are convenient for different treatment rooms, colleagues or course participants.

Best Tape on the Market!
As a qualified NMT and Lymphatic taping specialist, it's the only tape I will use. It stays on, cuts well and skin reactions are rare. Thysol are always quick to process orders and their customer service is great!

Great Size
I’m an NMT & Dermo practitioner so I use a lot of tape. The bigger size is not only cost effective but really allows me a lot of flexibility in tape widths and lengths which is great!

Tape Use
I've been using kinesio tape for many years in my shiatsu holistic bodywork clinic. I've tried multiple brands alsobthat I can find the optimum product to tape for stability, lymphatic drainage, support mechanical joint action or a ligament, protection of a tendon, reduce inflammation or help keep the integrity of a facscial sleeve. Thysol tape has good qualities so I use it in my clinic.

I was suggest this tape by Astrid my lecture who taught me to be a lymphedema therapist. I have used this tape on me a couple of patients that have lymphedema. I have used this as kenisio tape particularly on footballers on a local level. The tape can last a hole football match, it can last a 4hr bike ride and it can last 4 days of normal ware and tear. Great tape highly recommended this brand.
