Description
Applications of CureTape® 2.5 cm narrow kinesiology tape
The 2.5 cm kinesiology tape is commonly used for lymphatic taping techniques, as the narrow width makes it easy to create multiple strips for lymphatic drainage applications. It is also ideal for smaller joints such as fingers, toes and wrists. Because of its smaller width, this tape is also suitable for facial taping techniques, speech therapy applications and supporting areas such as the jaw (TMJ), facial muscles or scar tissue. The tape allows precise placement while maintaining the same flexibility and support as standard kinesiology tape.

About kinesiology tape
Kinesiotape is an elastic cotton tape with a hypoallergenic, acrylic adhesive layer. It has been designed to mimic the skin in terms of elasticity and thickness. The tape is made of high-quality materials, adheres to the skin for 3 to 7 days and is water-resistant.
What do people use kinesiology tape for, and how does it work?
People commonly use kinesiology tape around the knees, shoulders, ankles and back during sport, work or everyday activities. Physiotherapists also use it as part of treatment plans, including applications around swollen areas and scars.
The tape stretches with your body rather than holding an area firmly in place like FASCIQ Rigid Sports Tape. You can feel the tape gently pulling on your skin as you move. This provides a physical reminder of the taped area and may make you more aware of how you move.
The tape’s gentle pull on the skin is also one of the ideas behind its use in lymphatic taping. Researchers are still studying how this works and what difference it makes. The experience can vary from person to person and depends on the application.
Other sizes and packs
Need to tape a larger area or prefer wider coverage? Try our wide CureTape® Classic 7.5 cm.
The narrower width is useful for smaller areas such as fingers, wrists and the jaw region. Practitioners also use it in TMJ, speech therapy and lymphatic taping applications.
Each box contains two rolls, each measuring 2.5 cm x 5 m. You receive 10 metres of tape in total.
It is half the width of the standard 5 cm roll, with the same elastic cotton material and hypoallergenic adhesive. Choose it when your application calls for narrower strips.
Yes, the narrower width is practical for precise placement around the jaw. Explore our TMJ taping guide, and ask a qualified practitioner for guidance on the appropriate technique.
Typically 4–7 days, depending on the application area and activities. Round off the corners and pat dry after showering. Facial applications or delicate skin may require shorter wear, so follow your practitioner’s advice. Remove the tape sooner if irritation occurs.
